"My husband Mike was the first resident to move to Falls of Neuse Senior Living. His care had become more intensive than our family was able to manage at home. We were all a little nervous, but we could not have made a better choice. From day one, Caroline treated us like her own family. She cared for Mike as if he were her own father or uncle. Caroline, Nkechi and Chi were attentive to his ever-changing needs as his disease progressed. They handled each new challenge with creativity and kindness. My sons and I were welcome to visit as often as we liked, and so were Mike’s friends and hospice team. A little over eight months after Mike moved there, he passed away peacefully. As a registered nurse, I recognized that the care he received in those last months was the very best there is. I cannot thank the Falls of Neuse Senior Living team enough for their tender care of my husband and my family. We will forever hold a special place for them in our hearts and in our prayers."

"My mom who is now 90 lived with my husband and I for five years, but her care got to the point where we needed assistance in helping her have the quality of life that we could not give her anymore. She began to fall and her dementia was deteriorating. She needed assistance in her bathing and her medications. After several tours of assisted living facilities in the Wake County area, we were about to give up our search wondering if we were going to be able to find a place with a caring staff and warm atmosphere. A friend of ours suggested that we tour the Falls of Neuse Senior Living facility. When we toured Falls of Neuse Senior Living, we felt at peace after talking with the owner. She specializes in Dementia/Alzheimer's patients and there would be 24 hours 7 days a week staffing. Mom would be fed 3 meals daily, bathed and her medications distributed to her. We felt she would be in excellent care. After placing her at Falls of Neuse Senior Living in May 2016, she adjusted well. The facility is clean, staff is friendly and more important is Mom's care and is happy. I highly recommend this facility to any parent who needs care."

"From my first visit at the Falls of Neuse Senior Living home, I was impressed with the caring approach of the owner. Caroline was eager to listen to my concerns and assist me in moving my mother, who was in the final stages of Alzheimer's. She had outgrown the services of the two previous, larger facilities, and I was anxious to find a place that would meet her needs for her circumstances. Caroline was referred to me by Transitions Hospice and it was the ideal alternative for her to be in a home setting. Every service worker from Hospice that treated my mother while in the home was completely confident of Caroline's management methods. They told me that she was highly skilled in all aspects of home care and their accolades supported what I could see on every visit. Caroline actually went in the car with me to transport my mother in order to make sure she was properly discharged, admitted, and safely moved.
Having my mother in a home made all the difference in the world. She had such individualized care that was lacking beforehand. She was allowed to live on her terms and not at the expense of a master schedule. Caroline completely treated her like I would have if I could have had her at home. It was the most relieving feeling ever to know I had moved her to Caroline's care. I felt comfortable calling/visiting any time I could and I was always welcomed with a full report of how she was doing. It was specific to her and not just the traditional summary that all patients might have.
My mother was able to spend her final weeks in a place I know she would have selected if she had been able. The small setting was always quiet, peaceful, and her needs were tended to immediately. As my mother faced her last days, Caroline was sensitive to me and devoted to attending to her. It was a serene time made possible only because of Caroline's vigil. My only regret is that I didn't find it earlier. I highly recommend Falls of Neuse Senior Living for your loved ones and for your families."

My memories of Lakepark Family Care Home will always center most on the kindness of the caring, capable, experienced staff who took care of my mom while she was there. The atmosphere of the home was calm and welcoming from my initial tour visit through my almost daily visits to see my mom. If you feel your loved one is no longer safe living alone, please check them out. I am so thankful that I did!
